I’ve watched that play about 30 times since Saturday. It was such a bang bang play in real time so i get the call of incomplete. But when you watched it slowed down you see him catch the ball with both hands cleanly, turn while trying to tuck the ball in his left arm and then gets hit when he’s making the transfer. One foot hits as he catches the ball then the other foot comes down right before he’s hit. How the frick it wasn’t at least reviewed is mind boggling.

Again no where does it say in the rules the ball must be "tucked " to constitute a catch or possession. He caught the ball turned to tuck it and got hit then fumble . In order to tuck the ball you first have to catch it . This isnt very hard . Ask Sterncheeseburger , his reaction to the play said it all. Do you really think the SEC is going to say , " yea we fricked up" on anything ? Um no , but they did frick up a few times .

Watch the end of the LSU/Florida game in 2010. Terrence Toliver caught the ball with one foot in bounds with his fingertips and continued to tuck the ball away as he went out of bounds. Call was Touchdown. Call was reviewed, and confirmed (not just upheld). The referee you ask? Steve Shaw, go figure. So now we are saying that in the catch Saturday, he didn’t have possession because he was still tucking the ball away when he fumbled. So how exactly are we supposed to interpret this rule? I’m seriously asking because the NFL has no idea how to call these plays consistently either. I don’t think any league has established an unambiguous definition of what constitutes a catch.

No melt, just stating facts. If that catch and fumble is in the enzone, they call it a touchdown and eATMe fans are happy.

It was so fast that it should’ve been reviewed in my opinion, but I don’t think the ruling on the field would’ve been overturned. He just hadn’t had the ball long enough or gone more than a step.

I think I would have been pissed win or lose

The fact that we had to go into 7 OT with you means we aren't where we need to be

Well of course that’s what they came out with . Did anyone really expect them to say “ we effed up royally and LSU should have won the game 4 or 5 different times .”? Enjoy the win on paper but I think everyone knows who really won the damn game .

There was a 10 second runoff after the ref ruled him down. Went from 36 seconds to 26 seconds because A&M had no timeouts

Yes everyone knows A&M won the game

Let’s also not talk about all of the non called pass interference by LSU and the LSU o-line holding all night

There was obvious bias against LSU so of course they will not admit it. You know they had the red arse from the Devin White billboards so they wanted to send a message "don't mess with us" they are thugs and.gangsters and.I hope they get what they deserve
