Yards per game

1. OM 497
2. Bama 482
3. A&M 461
4. Mizzou 445

Points per game

1. Bama 41.25
2. A&M 40.75
3. MSU 36.5
4. Ole Miss 36

I know the league is bad this year, and I know that A&M has yet to play a good defense, but I'm amazed at our offensive production with our terrible OL and true freshmen QB who was clearly thrown out there way before he was ready.

We'll play a good defense when we play Bama, and when we play Florida, and when we play Auburn. Who else in the SEC has a good defense?

I looked at the stats...I was surprised to see how many yards UF has given up this year. Maybe they're not good! Looks like Auburn, Bama, and UGA are the only teams with good defense this year.

Florida's defense is young and thin - especially at linebacker. So far they've been pretty opportunistic but overall I'd grade a B-/C+. Definite step down from the previous couple years.
