Hope Mizzou can pull out something..really wanted to see Chelsea Thomas at least make it to WCWS

Washington eliminates Mizzou..

Sorry to hear that. Great season for the Tigers.

It sucks, but I wasn't expecting us to advance to the WCWS after losing our #2 pitcher earlier in the season and with Thomas' arm issues.
With a little bit of offense I could have been wrong. Oh well.
Go get'em Ags.

Thanks, Zou.
We're still scratchin' away, batter by batter. Another HR for the Ags. 3-2 Sooners.

Thomas can only throw every other day. Even if Mizzou comes back and wins they'll drop them both tomorrow.
Damn you were right, I bookmarked that super regionals thread. You said Mizzou would be done in the Supers because Thomas can't pitch back to back days without getting a heat stroke.

Damn I had no idea. I was thinking to myself for the past month there's no way Mizzou ONLY have 1 good pitcher. That explains it all.

She pitched just fine in both games.
Hard to win with all the errors and the poor
hitting.

Agree she pitched well just didn't get the runs and yakety saxed it up last night. Earlywine probably should've done whatever it took not to have their #2 transfer midseason.

I heard it was because of playing time, but I don't really know what went down with her for sure.
Hard to promise her the number of starts she wants with one of the best pitchers in the country on the same team.
We've also got two very good pitchers signed with us for next season. That might have been a very big factor in her decision to leave.

If Earlywine told her Thomas was pitching all SEC games and that caused her transfer then he screwed the pooch pretty badly.

How does someone who looks so scrawny (Lanphear) have so much power?!
Posted on 5/24/13 at 7:39 pm to JordonfortheJ
Damn. Just pick a zone and stick w/it. IDGAF if it is 3"x3"...fricking stick w/it.

Same can be said for Amber G. It's ridiculous. Talk about big things coming in small packages.

Damnit.A speedy runner would've been nice right there.

yeah, that umpire sucks, glad we survived this inning.

Lanphear has 21 home runs though. That's insane.
She's also got that "Texas woman stare". You know, the one that either says "I got myeyonyew" or "don't yewdayrr"
