Just like when we took down the #1 overall seed California last year, it's already a done deal.

You all are welcome.

Much easier to watch softball now that it's not 98% wildebeest.

So does SC have the chance to become the first SEC team to beat them on their own network? Has any other SEC team ever beaten them, or for that matter ever even played them, on their own network before today?

No one can tell because there are only about 35 subscribers to the entire network.

Seriously, though, I root for any team that can beat t.u. in anything.

I would be super shocked if South Carolina can beat Texas today. Good luck though!

Damnit.

Owell, baby steps to get us back to where we were when Compton was here. It may take a couple more seasons but I like where BJ got us to this year. She's pretty sharp.

I think South Carolina is definitely moving in the right direction!

Texas has been a tough opponent for a while now. How those Cat Osterman led teams didn't win a WCWS is puzzling. Blair Luna is not quite that good but certainly an ace.

For all the SEC softball prowess, I'm not sure many fans are familiar with the history of the national programs.

But scrooster took defeat in stride. I hope SC wins the elimination game tonight

It's going to be very tough to get by ASU tonight in Tempe.

That will be a tough one - but softball can be as fickle as baseball. Just look at what just happened in the A&M/Baylor game. The Baylor pitcher had the Aggies shut down until the 6th and entered the bottom of the 7th with a 3 run lead. 2HR and 4RBI later, the Aggies are resting tonight while the Bears get to play Arizona again (probably) later tonight, still in the College Station heat and humidity.

Good luck to UGA
