It might've been the second time in his entire life he saw black people. Totally racial profiling in this case. Marcus is a class fricking act. I hope they sue.

Let's see the body cam footage. I'll bet somebody got mouthy when they got pulled over. Then when it didn't work out as they expected. They pulled out their trusty race card.

Yep, I got busted in Alabama about 20 years ago. I did have weed in the car, under my seat. And a couple of joints in my cigarette pack.
They pulled me over, I refused a search naturally. So I sat there and waited for the K-9.
There is no way in hell that K-9 picked up on anything. They walked him around the car multiple times, he never made a sound. Then the officer made a motion to the dog and the dog barks. That made it legal to search apparently.
The dog gets in the car and doesn't go anywhere near the weed in the car. He's in the back seat looking up at the windows and shite. Never once goes towards the direction of the weed. After a few minutes the officer is like frick it, and starts doing his own search. And of course he finally pulls the weed out from under the seat.
Total bullshite, I don't believe for a minute that drug dog was there for anything other than an easy excuse to search.
Charges were eventually dropped. Bunch of bullshite.

No matter what people want to believe, profiling is human nature and common sense. There is a reason Asians are NOT profiled, and other groups are. It has nothing to do with racism, and everything to do with the reality reflected in the FBI Crime Stats.

Marcus has always struck me as good people and I don’t think he’d try to exaggerate something like this. I’ve been racially profiled picking my buddy up to go to the gym that lives in Bastrop in a sketchier part of town, so I can halfway see where he’s coming from. Asked “Why are you here? White people don’t come around here.” shite like that. It sucks, but it does happen. I also take these with a grain of salt sometimes because people DO sometimes over exaggerate shite and cry racist, just don’t think this is the case here.

I posted on the OT that this has happened to me before.
You should heard all of the suburban 'counts'. It hurt their vaginas to hear that White people get profiled when they are in neighborhoods where they look out of place.

Cops profile...EVERYBODY. That's what they do. It's their job.
The FBI has special units to profile people.

Yeah, a unit that tries to identify potential suspects to already committed serious crimes (like serial murders or terrorism) by building a psychological profile based on the specifics of that crime is a little bit different than pulling over an innocent citizen because the cop "just had a feeling".

I'm quite sure they don't just look at race and make decisions based on that. They are looking for patterns in behavior and things like that.
