so you think we lose to (presumably) and someone else in the sec and yet you also think there are 6 teams better than us. am i missing something?

Yes, you are missing something. I think that at THIS moment, Georgia is no better than the 7th best team in the SEC. I think by the end of the season that will change. How hard is that to figure out?
Rankings are how well a team is playing RIGHT NOW, not what their potential is. For example, right now I have Ole Miss as the second best team in the SEC, but I don't think they will end up that way.
As of right now, I don't have a top 6 in the SEC , I have a top 3, a 4-6 and everyone else. I've already listed them.

They were; IMO if they had beat OK State they would have been 2nd with Bama 3rd. IMO anyway.

If you're ranking the SEC teams based solely on last week's performance, I don't see how you can justify Ole Miss at No.2. Memphis held them in check for 3 quarters of play. Had it not been for an INT returned for a score, they would have been held within a field goal for 45 minutes. That just doesn't scream domination to me.
