SCAR is naturally the House Martell, defiant, long independent (in both the Revolutionary War and Civil War) - a much better house Martell than A&M. Rule from the red mountains (Appalachians) to the summer sea (Atlantic), named of the Warrior Queen (Caroline), and so on and so forth. Have fought in many wars - extremely rivalrous and fearful of nothing. Loyal to the bloodline and the land itself. Far more House Martell than A&M and definitely not the fricking Freys.

Truth is is that SC and TX are damned near twins regarding state pride and willingness to fight. They've got the Brits and civil war and we have the Mexicans and civil war.
