SEC Fanbase most starved for recognition & attention

Without a doubt it is Ole Miss and Arkansas leading the way. The fans of those schools are like the little kid on the playground jumping up and down at the back of the group screaming pick me, pick me. I honestly have never heard a fanbase of a school talk more bs without ever accomplishing jack shite. I love how arkansas (John Ham) continues to act as if they are an elite SEC football program....an elite one of course without ever winning a damn championship (arkansas fans never let accomplishments get in their way)...and despite being the worst overall sports program out of all SEC schools....Ole Miss continues to believe it is better than everyone else.....they come by it honestly though as they are taught they are. If either of those schools ever had some real success, it would be unbearable.

This won't end well. I don't think it's fanbases as much as it is just certain posters that need validation for whatever reason.

I live outside of Jackson Ms....and am on several message boards...and it is just absurd. Was playing golf last week and in the country club locker room watching LSU play SB.....of course being in jackson it is loaded with Ole Miss fans....and you should have heard the guys in there pulling for SB......I'm like damn guys...the jealousy runs deep.

Not really...I respect most top SEC programs for their accomplishments...whether I like the fans or not. Alabama has a great football program...LSU has a couple great programs, as does Florida....but I mean come on....Arkansas had a couple nice years...never won even a BCS Bowl game...much less a championship...and they will begin sliding away quickly after this year.....and Ole Miss...remember a few years ago when they beat LSU....omg.....they were on the verge of being the new power in the SEC under Nutt....we tried to tell them that LSU, Auburn, and Arkansas were down at the time...they wouldnt listen......I can remember them making fun of State.....not so much now though...lol
