By my calucations the West is currently 6-7 vs the East.
We're relying on Arkansas to bring us to a tie for the season, correct?

it's 8-5, so your calculations are incorrect. East has clinched.
5 Wins are 2 Bama, 2 A&M, 1 LSU.

Isnt that the first time the east has beat the west in over a decade?

With Ole Miss and Arkansas, the West is pretty much automatically down 0-4 next season, unless Ole Miss can pull off a home upset against Vandy.
