Post season rankings across all the major polls Number of regular season conference championships Number of conference championship games won Number of times to win a division Number of NCs Number of bowl games played in Number of bowl games won with more weight given to the Sugar Bowl, Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl and Fiesta Bowl

I’m pretty sure UGA is above or tied with AU on all of these and yet they’re 2nd and we’re 6th?

Would all of you b1tchers send me some other metrics to add? How would you weight a school which has only been in the conference one year? There is something to ranking OU and Texas further down the list as they played in sh!t conferences forever as had been said many times.

Heck, I don't think Auburn should be that high ...... I hate them with a passion but the rankings are based on numbers and that's what I was given.

Please send me more metrics so that I can fine tune it.

What has Florida ever done, outside of going .500 against Mizzou in football, since the Blackberry was hot ?

Auburn has less NCs, Conf Champiobships, wins, winning percentage, bowl games, bowl wins, rankings etc than UGA, UT, and LSU. You fricked up your list.

SEC Composite Rankings (since founding)

Commentary
This ranking model is designed to be as objective as possible, relying on quantifiable metrics dating back to the SEC's inception and updated through the 2024 season. Each component—from team achievements to individual awards—is normalized and adjusted based on the length of a school’s SEC membership.

It’s worth noting that with the advent of NIL and the transfer portal, the landscape of college football is changing rapidly. These new dynamics may eventually make it more challenging to assess programs solely on historical and on-field performance. In this light, our composite ranking could very well be one of the last attempts at an almost purely objective evaluation of SEC football before the shifting paradigms introduce more subjectivity into the sport.
