We have 3 horses in the race
Gators have won 2 titles, been a runner up, and played in 4 Final Fours. How many B1G schools have done that? Now how many B1G schools have done that in the past decade or 2.
Mississippi has been there but only as State
Mizzou needs only 2 more trips to break the NCAA record held by BYU for trips to the NCAA without a Final Four. BYU is 27 and Mizzou is sitting at 25. Since BYU is not in this year it means the Tigers are closing the gap fast.
Gators give us hope
Rebs give us a dream
Tigers give us another participation ribbon.

Has there ever been a decade of dominance by one conference as we have now in college sports?

It really is sick. To answer your question, I can't believe there ever was.

And the only reason it was that close is because they made 8 points in the last minute or so. They looked completely outmatched. Wisconsin doing so well in the Big 10 has really had me questioning the strength of that conference all year.
They also lost to Creighton, Virgina and Marquette (a team coincidentally we beat by 33). They were very average before conference play began.
