They'll need everyone of these bowls. I'm thinking the SEC will have a large number of eligible teams this year.
For brevity sake, those not making bowls this year will be Arkansas, Vandy, and Kentucky.

Worth keeping in mind that the SEC itself will begin picking the teams for six of the bowls, which will be pooled together (Liberty, Music City, Belk, Texas, TaxSlayer, Outback).
More control from the league office over which teams go where.
The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has signed deals that will see its member colleges take part in nine bowl game from next year.
The Cotton Bowl and Chick-Fil-A Bowl previously featured SEC football teams but from next year these will be replaced by the Texas Bowl (vs Big 12), and Belk Bowl (vs ACC).
The other seven bowl games consist of the Capital One (vs Big Ten/ACC), the Outback (vs Big Ten), the Music City (vs ACC/Big Ten), the Gator (vs ACC/Big Ten), the Liberty (vs Big 12), the Birmingham (opposition to be confirmed), and the Advocare V100 (vs ACC).
The Capital One bowl will have its choice of available SEC teams, but the SEC itself will choose the schools that play in the Outback, Music City, Gator, Liberty, Texas and Belk bowls.
The Birmingham and Advocare V100 games will have their selection of SEC teams after that.
