How the hell is Petty still in the league? Feels like this is his 10th year

He’s a fourth year senior, but came out of HS as a highly rated, potential one-and-done, according to some services. He was outshined by Sexton his freshman year, but survived the Avery tenure and has progressed into a borderline draft pick the last two seasons. He’s streaky as hell, but when he’s hot, he’s on fire.

Sexton feels like ages ago though, so I see your point. I think that comparison makes it seem like longer than it has been.

How has Florida looked without Keyonta Johnson? I know they’ve won their first two SEC games and Bama is coming off a huge win at UT, so I fully expect them to shite the bed against UF.

We have looked ok. Better than I thought we would. Castleton and Durubi have really stepped up, along with the others. We are still tweaking lineups, but we appear that we can still be competitive.

I was impressed by the LSU win, admittedly without watching the game. Sounds like they’ve adjusted well without Keyonta. I hope the kid gets back to playing ball. Any Gator fans have an update on his long term prognosis?

Looking forward to good game tomorrow night.

I just know he usually has a good shooting night against Kentucky so it feels like he's been there forever

Makes me want to punch Cal in the face.

But it’s just a game. One that we had no chance of winning because we had no scorers whatsoever and he’s a 3 point machine attached to the bench by cobwebs but hey, our superfreshmen had to get a thousand shots per game to give them a chance to get it going. Meanwhile guys on the bench get all of 4.3 seconds before being yanked back off the court. But still, just a game.

“Hey, Cal, your team sucks balls right now. Have you thought about doing anything differently than you have been?”
