LSU started Brandon Sampson in 2 of their OOC losses. He did not play last night against Alabama.
LSU started Elbert Robinson in 3 of their OOC losses. He played 6 minutes last night against Alabama.
LSU started Aaron Epps in 1 of their OOC losses. He played 2 minutes last night against Alabama.
Just to show what we were dealing with out of conference. We already aren't a very deep team. Imagine what we had to work with then.

The USA Today bracket has us as a 10 seed vs Texas Tech, then play West Virginia.
I'd like this scenario or the CBS, which has us as a 9 seed vs Pitt.

Technically, no.
But since if we lose to Tennessee we'll definitely lose to Arkansas too, then yes.

BPI takes in to account losses without key players, which LSU had at beginning of season. Thus, their early non-conference losses are not so damaging.

As of today, Palm has taken us off the bubble. He also doesn't even list LSU as a team close to being considered.
