I realize this, and you've got to be naive to not realize that the SEC could negotiate its way out of a contract, or have it setup to do so. I think these other locations would love to have a shot at the Championship at least once.

Every contract has an out in it and it usually involves a buyout. You may say I;m naive but I see a lot of contracts and I would have to say you're being a bit naive yourself to think a venue would just let an organization with very deep pockets like the SEC walk away without out a huge payout. Especially if they know it's a testing the waters type deal.

This whole "But we're the SEC" thing isn't going to get them out of a payout and it won't be small.

I guess we didn't have any championship games before they built the Georgia Dome. I wonder what the SEC would ever do without it.

The teams playing in the championship might all fall out if they play "outside on grass".
