MSU, Ole Miss, AU and Bama coaches should not be measured against the rest. The playing field is not even.
i assume you're talking about state funded scholarship programs. i get that, but look at a place like vanderbilt. they manage to do just fine, with the right coach, and they have more of a hurdle than any school in the conference.

In the end it doesn't really matter as there is very little interest in UT baseball. Serrano's unwatchable brand of baseball has only made things worse. I have tried to get in to it, attend games, etc. and I know LSU fans love it but college baseball is close to an unwatchable sport in its current state imo. Even the CWS is terrible in the new park.
I would rather watch a AA game 10 times out of 10.

I'll gladly take Serrano at AU. His failure at UT is more on them than him. He is an excellent coach.

UT and UK are the two worst baseball jobs in the current state of the SEC.

Nope; Vandy has a huge recruiting advantage because they can piece together full scholarships for certain recruits. Full scholarships to an elite, private school is a huge deal.

Re Gaspard, can Bama afford to buy out 2 coaches & pay for 2 new ones? Not sure what firing either the basketball or baseball coach would cost, but it has to be a somewhat significant cost?? And I want Gaspard to stay right where he is, as LSU's Dunn is a bama alum & more than qualified to be a HC after his outstanding resume over all & with his success at LSU.
