There is little better come spring time when it's stuck in the high 60's, low 70's and the Diamond Dawgs are at play. It's been my ritual to grab some Cane's and bum out in the bleachers

2007
I kinda saw that season coming after we lost to Indiana that year.

Rebuilding year, expected by most with a new coach taking over. Certainly not the most disappointing season for most Tiger fans. That would be '98 for me. Coming off back to back CWS titles, with college baseball's poy, Eddy Furniss and two other 1st team AA's in McClure and Cresse, the Tigers rapped 161 homers and steam-rolled through the post season until the 3rd game in Omaha. They lost late to USC 5-4 and then fell to the eventual national champion Trojans again two days later. That was the best LSU team that didn't win it all. Now that was disappointing.

I actually had no idea he was downtown until a buddy of mine from Southern called me and asked me what the frick happened. Word quickly spread through the sorority grape vines as to who it was and what supposedly went down. And, no, I dind't know the girl

I don't either. All my frieds from down there have big time 1-A programs we all cheer for. Of course we have a yearly Southern Game we make a trip to.

I went to a Southern game with the same guy that called me my freshman year of college. We both couldn;t understand why people got worked up about it, considering it was pretty much a giant high school stadium then again we were pretty spoiled with going to UGA games by that point
