LSU has always had a big influence inside the SEC offices. In fact, the commissioner who decided to move the offices was none other than Bernie Moore former LSU coach. He wanted to minimize the drive for the reps of schools that were farther away. So he moved the offices from Jackson to Birmingham, at the requests of UK and UF reps. Of course, LSU holds a lot power within the SEC since their state has always produced great athletes and they have always had successful athletic programs.

Say the SEC office was in Metairie, LA. It was staffed by more LSU grads than any other school, and the Head of SEC Officiating was an LSU grad. Two weeks before the LSU/Bama game one of your players is called for a bogus targeting call, and as luck would have it, the LSU alum upholds the call and the suspension of the Bama player against LSU.

Trailers. Would. Be. Burning. In Alabama. Hell, your fanbase has committed assault, property damage, murder, and threatened your own players with death threats, and you expect me to believe if the roles were reversed y'all would move along like it was nothing and not question how an LSU alum could be totally impartial on the matter.

Y'all are many things, self-aware and honest not being two of those things.
