Freshman year 1977: Either won or tied for the SEC football championship, whatever championship discussions have decided, with a 10-1 record.
That spring won the NCAA basketball national championship. Pretty good first year.
Took 6 years (spent two years in architecture school) and in 1982 the football team literally flipped the script and went 0-10-1

Me too. I attended the UGA/Kentucky that year, a 33-0 victory for the Wildcats. Prince Charles was there. I didn't see the infamous banner that read "Prince Charles does it Doggie Style" It was confiscated before I could view it!!
