s he a pocket passer? I don't remember him being much of a running threat

In his first start against MSU he had some good runs and at one point was actually up to around 85 yards rushing before getting sacked 4 or 5 times in the 4th trying to win the game.

He injured his leg or knee the next week so we never saw what he could really do running. He's quicker than people think and elusive in the pocket. He's not a DT guy but he ain't a statue like some guys. If he stays healthy I wouldn't be surprised if he ran for 250-300 yards. Probably won't run for many TDs though because he doesn't have the speed to run away from guys, and he's too small to be a goal line threat.

Clemson will crush them. I guess the JC transfer was a flop. This season will be a shite show and high school will get run out of town.

seems like a pretty obvious choice when you look at it objectively doesnt it?

Hopefully a couple of our highly ranked freshman step up. We only return one guy that has any real amount of experience and luckily he's the one guy that didn't have god awful hands last year. It'll be good to see new faces at that position.

I think you will see us use the tight end a lot more this year. We finally have a couple guys that fit the mold and will help Sean bail out of trouble in ways we haven't used before.

Thank you Bowl Jackson. That is what has been confusing me.The young can run when healthy.(who knew?) That explains why he would have gone to Auburn in the first place. It also explains why he beat out everybody for the starting job. Thanks for clearing it up, instead of just assuming i am hating on Auburn.

When Alabama names its starting QB, it will reach 5 pages in 3 minutes.

I don't think Alabama is going to name a starter.

I've often wondered why coaches do that. Especially if they have QBs who have entirely different skill sets. Right now USC is having to prepare for different types of potential offensive schemes. It seems to me a good coach would just surprise their week one opponent with the starting QB.

Maybe not because it will likely be when the offense takes the field. I imagine the Bama posters will be distracted by the game.
