My sweet friend, these boys don’t bother me a lick.
It’s better to have God approve than to seek the approval of others.
Hope you’re hangin’ in there!

What the frick are we talking about here? Lacrosse or college bass fishing?
The pathetic aggies can’t win in the big 3. At. All.
No championships in baseball, basketball or the big one, football.

In the SEC, if you win a championship in baseball or basketball, at least you can have some degree of pride in being a champion and bringing honor to your university, your state and the conference. If you win championships in the lifeblood of the SEC, football, you can be counted among the elite. I’m not talking about ancient wins like 1980, but wins in the last 20-25 years. Your football program is a successful SEC powerhouse and is one of the teams thought of when they talk about how powerful the SEC is when discussing football power rankings.
If you have not won a National championship since at least the BCS era, you are simply cannon fodder that the powerhouses dominate on the way to championships.

All the other bullshite like gymnastics and volleyball are just side shows that are nice for the ladies teams or some extracurricular activity for students. The only thing that falls in between being a real SEC sport that means something and basically a hobby is Track and Field. But really , if you have not won a championship in football, you really ain’t shite.
