Yeah it totally sucked. But probably a good move on his part. Me and my buddies probably looked like a "Cowboy" youtube video. We were getting hammered and having a good time.

You can tell which Bama fans "have been there before" and which are merely bandwagoners. I'd say the split is 80/20 (bandwagoners v. real fans - unscientic assessment).
With that said, talk of the MNC has died in the media and most everyone outside of the small demography that is Tuscaloosa has filed this away as just another game. No big deal to most college football fans at this point. You'd be surprised - ask most half-assed knowlegeable college fans in the month of June and they'll have to think a minute before they remember who won the 2009 season title. The 15 minutes of fame for the Bama program has expired for the 2009 program. You now have to rely on the occasional article from national pundits on Bama's chance to repeat, discussion of how long Saban's penis is, and the like. Most blathering about the title will originate from Tuscaloosa and the immediate area media.
With that, reference my "Time to Move On" topic from a few days ago. (perform a seach of topics over the last few days).
