I did enjoy a nice long run of "guaranteed" wins facing South Carolina and Arkansas since joining the SEC. But both of those streaks have been broken in recent years and SC is actually quite scary.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if ya'll score 40+ on A&M this year, which, to Elko's defense credit, has rarely happened since he has been the DC and HC at A&M.

A&M defense is not up to previous standards because the pass rush isn’t getting home.

SC's o-line, almost completely rebuilt and under a new coach and coordinator, has been a very pleasant surprise. Sellers still gets pressured, of course, but he was running for his life last year. This year, he's had more time in the pocket. The rushing offense has been solid, and the passing game is coming online.

There is no overlooking aTm from Carolina's perspective. Last year was embarrassing, and though Beamer has the last two in Cola, he really needs to hold serve at home in this series. It may wind up being similar to the UTK series where the home team is expected.

So you’re telling me that a completely rebuilt OL and a new coordinator don’t automatically have to suck a**?

I’d always assumed that falling apart due to change was everyone’s problem, not just A&M’s.

SC must’ve hired an EXPERIENCED coordinator instead of a recruiter cosplaying as a playcaller….

SC can win if Sellers doesn't throw the ball.

SC should just come out and run the ball down our throats.

No need to pass or chance it. The D line can't handle big backs or QBs.

What's yall's defense looking like this year? What are your strengths and weaknesses? I admittedly haven't watched y'all at all this year. I know you've been frustrated with Reed, but what's the other side look like?

Mediocre. No real stars on defense. Not a single pass rusher worth a darn without blitzing. Secondary has been disappointing after fat Mike talked them up. Showed alittle life against Bama but just give up way too many chunk plays.
