I keep hearing this. I did not realize that baseball was even a collegiate sport.

Only LSU fans and some Arky fans say that.

It's not true and facts back it up.

No. It's not.

And attendance data proves it.

Also, Tennessee cares less about baseball than any other SEC school.

I agree with Tennessee not caring, but that's mostly because they suck. And outside of Kentucky and maybe Florida you could argue baseball is bigger at all other SEC schools than basketball. I'd still say basketball is bigger than baseball at Arkansas but the gap closed over the past decade.

You could. But the facts wouldn't back you up.

You forgot Tenn. I'm pretty sure they have the second highest basketball attendance in the conference and the lowest baseball attendance. Also, Florida's basketball attendance/support is not that good.

Now you're changing the subject. SEC basketball has higher attendance than SEC baseball. That's what I'm saying.

It simply doesn't matter in this argument. Unless you sold out every single home baseball game. Is Arkansas turning away thousands of people at the gate every home baseball game? If not, it doesn't matter. More people go to SEC basketball games than baseball.

YES, baseball is more popular in the SEC than most conferences. YES, basketball is less popular in the SEC than most conferences. HOWEVER, basketball is still more popular than baseball in the SEC and the numbers back that up.
