This does not seem like it belongs in this forum.

But just remember, they usually stay away from humans. Pretty much every lake or rivers in Florida has Alligators..they are not aggressive unless you are threatening them. Crocodiles are very aggressive though, as long as it not the latter you are fine.

We know their range extended to Chesapeake Bay. Virginia has some spots that would make really good gator territory.

I saw a 4 footer crossing a levee
road just outside of Jonestown, MS about 15 years ago. They
don’t get very big that far north.
