I wouldn't be suprised to see the Saints take Spikes, if he is there.

Wasn't Greg Williams with the Titans when they took Bullock. Not exactly the same type of players, but both are playmakers.

Shanle not an NFL caliber LB IMO.
FAIL.

Shanle had an incredible year, and is consider one of the best pass coverage LB in the NFC.

I just don't want the Jets to use their 1st pick on a WR, The Jets can survive with Edwards,J-Co, Smith, and Keller for now...

I think he will be gone. In addition, their really isn't a need there.

There is a decent need, obviously the Jets would want him as an OLB. They need someone who can pass rush and cover well, which Calvin Pace(270 Lbs)or Bryan Thomas can't do. There is talks of either Joey Porter or Adalius Thomas signing with the Jets for this reason. My money is on Thomas.

I agree, Odrick will be a fine pick, he can learn from 2 of the most effective 3-4 DEs in recent years(If Douglas ends up being tendered), and he can provide Mike Devito(UDFA from Maine that the staff is really high on)competition.

I do hope they target CB with there next pick since Lito Sheppard is due a roster bonus soon and I don't think the Jets are going to let him hang around to collect it.

they will. From what i've heard lito is good as gone and they aren't very high on lowery.

Indeed he has, he ended up platooning with DeVito this year. His familiarity with Rex and his system got him the job...

I've heard a couple corner's names thrown around to draft, but they may shoot up the draft board of someone after the combine and etc.

The Shep project was a failure, his previous problems really became worse, and he couldn't stay 100%.

Lowery doesn't have corner speed, he can't cover with the play behind him, he'll get burnt easily. When Mangini was here, the talk was of Lowery moving to FS. He has good instincts, but his speed gets him killed.

I'm really glad Drew Coleman's arse is soon to unemployed too, he couldn't cover a one legged 5th grader...

Make your case for your player to be drafted by the Saints:

Dexter McCluster, fantastic pick in the second round.
Could be what Reggie Bush was always supposed to be.

Small guy, though.

First Take was talking this morning about him possibly being late 1st round.

Kiper had him as the #3 RB on his board. McShay had him at 5.

He did a great job of trying to fix everything that Jevan Snead spent all his time breaking.

Is Taylor Mays not a top 20 pick? Maybe it was just ESPN hyping him but I thought he was supposed to be a beast?

I don't they trust him on the field anymore, they called on a UDFA over him this year, which didn't go so well either...

agreed, However, i think he could be a great SS as long as they son't expect him to cover. The 49ers come 2 mind.

He needs to go somewhere that has a good DB coach. He has the tools to a be a good SS, but he needs to learn to be more cerebral, rather than going for the big hit every time..
