Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Embassy Suites off Constitution Ave. I like Embassy for the breakfast buffet.

Downtown BR is actually fine. A few nice hotels. Just stay west of the interstate or south of Government if you go across the interstate. Our ghetto is mostly contained with a few smatterings here and there.

You can always tell the people who have only driven from I10 East to Tiger Stadium and made their entire city assessment based off of that.

I had zero issues with “Baton Rouge crime” in 4 years.

I always stay at the Sonesta Suites. You can walk to the ballpark (safely), and Walkons is right there, too.
