JJ is 11th in the league in receiving yards and could end up playing for a Super Bowl this season.

The Falcons going to the Super Bowl I mean it could happ . . . Nope, no it won't

Oh & Richardson plays for the Browns and we know how many great players they've had since . . . ? So I don't think it's that hard to break records held by a franchise that actually doesn't even exist anymore

Considering they have the best record in the league and the mustache king isn't on the sidelines letting crappy offenses score 35 on them. I can say they have real good chance.

Doesn't matter he's still doing fairly well for being on a crappy team and have 1000+ yards of offense and 10 TD for his rookie year.

Mark Ingram - Bama (Lulz, just go to the saints board)

Is doing pretty good considering everything.

Dre Kirkpatrick - Bama (only played in 5 games so far in rookie season, didn't shine too bright while in there. Still has lots of time to live up to the hype)

Not a bust when you haven't done anything that says you didn't deserve your first round selection. Looked good against Cruz when he played.

Because Van Gorder was the reason Matty Ice was frozen in New York last year I'm just saying, get past the 1st round of the playoffs and then . . . Lol nope

J/k with you As a Cam/Carolina fan, if nothing else we can take satisfaction in the fact that the Saints won't be there (& read Saintstalk for shites& giggles )

And it sucks for Trent that he plays for the Browns but he's had a solid rookie season

Portis and Shockey would probably be the ceiling for Bama's current NFL guys like Julio and Richardson but I don't see any of them having the careers the Bama hype machine anointed them to have.

Week 15 in NFL (5 Ala Players Scored)
Ingram
Trent
Julio
Rashad Johnson
Wallace Gilberry

3 of them - Julio, Trent, and Mark, were Coach Saban's players, playing 3 years under him. And 1, Rashad, walked on under Shula and played 2 years for Saban.

Well, I'm a saints fan so it doesn't bring me any pleasure to see the Falcons that good, but hey there's nothing wrong with admitting it.

So you're comparing Jeremy Shockey's two Super Bowl rings to 5 Bama players scoring td's in week 15

I'm sorry is tihs the nfl rant here? no. Its the SEC rant. Is coach Saban coaching NFL teams anymore? Hell he likely is with the whoopin he's put on the country the last few years but no, technically its still college. So who gives a crap what his players do when they go to the NFL and are put in systems with inferior leadership and coaching. IMO tihs just proves how good of a coach saban is. He can get these players to perform why can't the other coaches? Bc their not that good at coaching that's why.

Well, prove me wrong. I mean what difference does it make? Are you trolling me and trying to tell me CNS isn't a great coach? What's the point of pointing out that his players have been "busts"? please. Y'all are all grasping at straws here. It doesn't make a difference whether his players win mvps or wash cars - he's a college coach who has the best college players.

Julio, Trent, and Mark were still in middle school when Shockey was drafted in 2002.

Gus Malzhan's Auburn NFL players:

...

0 total and 0 starters

Gene Chizik's Auburn NFL players:

Bynes: 2nd year; not a bust
Fairley: starts; not a bust
Fannin: 2nd year; bust
Harris: rookie; not a bust
Moseley: rookie; not a bust
Newton: starts; not a bust
Tate: 2nd string; not a bust
Thorpe: rookie; not a bust (will though)

What the hell Auburn? In Chizik's 4 years he only produced 2 freakin starters in the NFL

Bama fans should also claim the NC for most delusional fanbase. McElroy being named the starter after the Jets were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and are now scroungin for trade bait counts as success in the NFL?

Auburn has had two NFL ROY since 2005 (Cam and Cadillac). Did Bama even have a player make the Pro Bowl last year? Do they have anyone on this years ballot? Laugh at Chizik all you wont but players like Carlos Rogers and Asante Samuels seem to have a lot of respect for him.

You can deflect and dismiss as much as you like, but most Saban players end up being average at best in the NFL.
