I just know the claims that Milroe is somehow holding the program hostage are laughable

Not laughable at all. He spent the entire offseason marketing himself as the face of this new era of football. He has his own merch line that the school is helping him sell. Saturday, they're giving away cups at the stadium with him on it. He's done one helluva job selling himself as the Alabama QB & overall team leader for this season, but you don't think that could affect the coach's decision to bench his arse for poor performance?

Oh a new one.

So Alabama that spends well over $100 million a year on it's football program, often way more is now sacrificing everything for...cup sales?

It's a good thing I'm banned from the Alabama forum.

Yes that's exactly what I said - Alabama is sacrificing wins to sell cups

LANK came from Milroe's mission to prove Bill Obrien wrong about him needing to change positions. The team that took Milroe's side tried to turn it into a saying for the team. Now its just a lame acronym to Milroe trying to be something he is not............Saban being dictated to by the players was one of the things that led him to retire. When he didn't have full control and NIL came along, he was like "I'm out".

The division on the team has a LOT to do with Milroe and the players dictating who they want as QB. Remember that saying "he won the locker room"? Thats exactly what it is. Saban tried to play other QBs and the team went into rebellion. Milroe's media tour in the off-season was him taking advice from Hurts on how to win the public as the QB. I can't wait till he is gone.

First, the division is just something you made up.

Second, you don't "Win the locker room" by being the worse player.

The team never went into rebellion, again something you made up.

Hurts did not play during NIL.

Again just more excuses because you can't accept the fact the people paid millions of dollars, spend basically every day with these players happen to know more about who should be starting than you.

I can say Milroe played like shite. Everything you're saying is bullshite and just your way of coping with things you have no control over.

You can believe what you want. I am just passing along facts. But don't get mad me because you can't handle it. ANd the fact you think Milroe gives us the best chance to succeed is whats laughable.

I'm sorry, was there something in his merch line that trumps the 100+ million of dollars spent every year, or having to pay an expensive buyout for a coach who can't succeed while the AD is more worried about merch sales?

I'll be happy to change from cups to whatever line of merch it is that warrants such dominance over the Alabama football program.

It's impossible that what you say is actually happening. You're just too stupid to understand why, so you think it's actually plausible.

Impossible? You are wrong. And you are stupid enough to think Milroe gives us the best chance to succeed.

No, I'm smart enough to know I'm no where near qualified to make that decision. I do not spend every day with them, I do not spend time with coaches trying to game plan, I do not attend every practice. I have not dedicated my life to coaching football.

There are people who are paid millions of dollars with a long record of success making these decisions, and I see no reason to believe he's not the best QB to give us that chance if they do.

I can say he played like shite and we aren't going to win many games if he keeps playing like that. But beyond that, it's just you saying stupid shite because you can't remotely process what you are actually saying.

You believe what you want. I don't really care. I know what I am talking about. After this season you may hear more rumbles of what was taking place depending on what happens.

Personally I think it's too early to bail on Milroe. Looking around CFB this year, most of the top QBs have drastically under performed. There is still plenty of time for him to figure it out.

You must be pretty dense if you don't think the all out media blitz this year makes it more difficult to reverse course halfway through the year. Last month they were marketing JM as a Heisman candidate & now he's playing some of the worse ball of his career. He's had 50 yards rushing his last 50 attempts & he's wildly inaccurate on pretty much every type of pass now.

If this is the best Bama can do, Saban needs to apologize on Gameday tomorrow morning for leaving Deboer the shittiest QB room in the SEC.

This is why you are stupid. You'll just take any negative event that happens and claim it as proof you were right. Just reinforcing ignorance.

And I love the "depending on what happens" part.

There are obvious issues, and yet you still can't really find them outside "QB Bad" while making absolutely absurd claims.

Hell, we've had culture problems for years now. Nothing at all to do with your crazy shite, just people who care more about getting paid and don't put in the work required to take the talent and make it elite. And in some cases, losses are the best medicine for that. 2010 lead to 2011+.

I hope they get fixed, but there is no huge conspiracy or any of the shite you are talking about.

You must think Alabama is some 3rd rate rinky dink program or some shite to believe this crap.

Dumbass.

If this is how you think the Alabama program is being run, you should just stop being a fan now because we won't be bowl eligible next year.

The cherry on top of that is Saban is considered king. If Deboer came in and benched a Heisman candidate QB that Saban chose to play, how would that make him look? That would be like saying "Saban didn't know what he was doing".....Add in the media tour that Milroe did to try and win the hearts of the fans (which worked). ......Add in the players threatening revolt. What could Deboer do when he was trying to ease into a very difficult coach to follow at a new job he wanted to win the fan base...........Thats why Deboer is walking around with that "Oh shite" look on his face all the time. He walked into a shiit show. We just got to get this year over and get rid of Milroe and some players that are selfish.

He's had 3.5 years now to figure it out & he's still making the same mistakes. He feasted off of Westen Kentucky, South Florida, & Wisconsin then once we got into league play, his performance nosedived.
