Good for you. Couldn't be further from the truth.

You're a media darling. You got voted in because you're alabama. The sooner you admit it the better.

Good for LC. Mett gonna torch his arse like he did the rest of the Gump D last year. And I'm pumped we're getting Landon's little bro in the class of 2014. Athletic family

Except you have no way of proving that.

Exactly. All we have is the eye test. The eye test tells us OKST was just like every other ten win Big XII team, horrible defensively and their offense can be stopped with ease.

Before 1/9, I could prove how an LSU/Bama game would go. We saw it.

You saw LSU playing a little off their game and Bama playing WAY off their game.

There should have been no rematch.

That's retarded logic. It's supposed to be the two best teams, regardless of resume. Alabama and LSU were the two best teams according to anyone who knows a damn thing about football other than how many ranked teams a team beat.

Does it even need to be said that Bama was better than Oklahoma State?

This is that defense.

Josh Chapman - Fifth round pick
Jesse Williams - Fifth round pick
Damion Square - UDFA, likely landing on a roster.
Dont'a Hightower - 1st round pick
Nico Johnson - Fifth round pick
CJ Mosley - Projected 1st round pick
Courtney Upshaw - 2nd round pick
Jerrell Harris - UDFA, has bounced around a bit.
Dre Kirkpatrick - 1st round pick
Dee Milliner - 1st round pick
Mark Barron - 1st round pick
DeQuan Menzie - Fifth round pick
Robert Lester - UDFA who may earn a lot of PT this year

On offense?

AJ McCarron - Projected anywhere from the 1st to the 3rd round.
Trent Richardson - 1st round pick
Eddie Lacy - 2nd round pick
Barrett Jones - Fourth round pick
Chance Warmack - 1st round pick
William Vlachos - UDFA, was always overrated to me
Anthony Steen - Projected anywhere from 2nd-fifth round
DJ Fluker - 1st round pick
Michael Williams - Seventh round pick

Sure those guys hadn't been drafted when votes were made and what not, but most, if not all, were projected to be NFL players. OKST can't say the same.

On top of that, before the final BCS came out, we were number 2 and they were 3. That shouldn't magically change just to keep the better team out of the BCSCG.

Maybe so, but I can see his conversations with Landon now.

"So, what's Bama like?"

"Well top talent in the country to compete against, fine women, and you're pretty much guaranteed at least one ring."

"Hmmm."

However, I don't even know who is brother is, and if it's the 2014 class I'm guessing either he doesn't wanna go to Bama, we haven't offered, or both. We probably have offered though, if he's as gifted as his brother.

I mean, he's been consistent with his top destinations as LSU, Florida, and A&M... He's just not fit to play DE or NT in the 3-4. Name is Gerald Willis. One of the top players in LA. State is so fricking stacked with talent this year. Going to end up being LSU's best class to date.

A team that lost to 1/2 the quality teams it played?

fricking atrocity. No fairness or logic involved.

A team that played like the best team in the nation on the field?

Yeah. Deserves to be in the title game.

Slightly different situation. Say a team like Purdue or something has 12 EXTREMELY lucky finishes, wins their B1G Title game by a hair, and then gets selected for the playoffs. In their first playoff game, the other team's starting QB, RB, and best WR are injured in an accident before the game. They go on to win by a hair again.

Similar situation in the next game where the other team is missing a few valuable players, and Purdue or whoever is perfectly healthy, they win by a hair.

They barely won all 15 games, stayed healthy against teams that weren't, but they go unbeaten and win it all. Are they really the best team in the country? No. So it's bull that they get to play for a national title just because they won all of their games when a team that could have lost one game was a way better team, but didn't have insane luck.

Now, something like that won't happen, but IF it did, do you really believe that team would deserve to be even in the playoffs? It's easier when people can vote based on what they see on the field, but a selection committee that could use something as screwed up as being a conference champion over being one of the four best teams? THAT isn't fair. It should be the best teams playing for the title every year, not the teams with the best resumes.

Seriously. Before I really looked at the class I was impressed with some of what Bama had, guys like Marlon and Bo, but then I saw LA's recruits and it was insane. Usually you expect something like that, but the state you expect to see it in is Texas, maybe Georgia, Florida, or California, but LA is stacked this year. Maybe 2016 will be LSU's year once all that talent has some experience.

Sounds like a coaching issue if they couldn't even get up for the "Game of the Century" and needed a rematch to play well.

Maybe he will be. Is he expected to RS this year and only play if he absolutely has to, or will he plain garbage time to get experience?

rumor has it they might have a little package for him like we did with Perrilloux when Flynn was the starter. I expect him to at least get the garbage time snaps though since there is a good chance he's our starter next season.

All I know is if Cameron isn't the answer then the problem is plain as day. And it certainly aint a lack of talent.
