Right, the other team outside of Auburn that you contend with in the West every year isnt your "rival".

Older Tiger fans do yes. My grandfather taught me to HATE Tulane and Ole Miss with a passion. And I only really consider Tulame a rival in baseball. That is really the only sport they can compete on the same level as LSU.

It's a media created "rivalry." It's not really a rivalry, the media has just tried to turn it into one

I can see that, I suppose. Whenever I think of LSU, I think, "Would've been a great place to go to college."

Since 2007 a majority of fans consider Bama our #1 rival.
From 01-06 it was Auburn.
