LSU probably had more talent then than Bama does now. So I feel pretty comfortable with that assumption.
But yes, because Alabama won a few National Titles under a drunk several years ago, the aura of the program itself is responsible for Saban's success.

I know it was the first time he lost to LSU in Alabama, it was the 2nd time he lost to LSU, first time was in Sport.

Saban beat LSU for the 1st time. He lost to LSU at Michigan State.

LSU is gonna get the last laugh on this. GEAUX GATORS and BUCK FAMA!....LSU will be better next year. The rivalry is "ON"......
