No such thing as a mulligan, goat arse sniffer. Bama was one of the top 4 teams as the playoffs proved.
Of course, the Playoff Committee rightfully negated Aubie's Iron Bowl *win* since it was a joke. Just like Aubie's program.

You just keep oozing jealously

No, just stating facts. How does a team full of NFL prospects ever lose a game? 1. Bad coaching 2. Overrated talent.
If not for the campaign to have Bama in the Playoff because of the eye test, they would have been the most underachieving team in the history of College Football. This is why College Football has become the biggest beauty contest in the World.

What? It's more like the NFL-ization of college football. You guys are beating your chests about winning the Iron Bowl but it really doesn't mean shite. You are like Buffalo fans crowing about getting a win over the Patriots in week 14. The Patriots still go to the playoffs and win the Super Bowl.
That is something that seems to escape you and most Auburn fans. No one fricking cares about your Iron Bowl win when getting in the playoffs is what matters. Then it's a two game season. You guys haven't even sniffed it.

Depends on your perspective, but that's a pretty dumb fricking thing to say.
My perspective as a Bama fan is about winning national titles. I can promise you not a single Bama fan is giving the Iron Bowl any thought given the trophy is in Tuscaloosa......again.

It's a bit like the phenomenon of rosy retrospect. Of course, in the long run, it didn't matter that we dominated the Iron Bowl. Congrats. But it very much did mean something in the moment.

In the Pros you earn your way into the Playoffs. Not based on an opinion. That is why College Football is just a beauty contest. One week you get your arse whipped by a team and finish second to them by rules set up years before, the next week you are considered elite without playing a game.

The new Mark Richt of the league? Seems like they don't do a good job developing their talent.

So the four teams in this year's playoffs didn't earn it?

Unless we cap the number of teams like the NFL, and unless we have a draft and distribute talent equally like the NFL, there is always going some level of subjectivity. Given the way Bama wrecked Clemson and Georgia in the second half, I would say the committee got it right.
And I would be a lot more butthurt about the Iron Bowl if it had cost us a playoff spot....but it didn't.....you guys might have earned that spot had Gus not gone full Gus and blown a 24 point lead to Ed Ogeron.

Three were Conference Champs and one didn't win their own Division.

No ,it proved if you give Saban 6 weeks to prepare a team, he will win the majority of the time (Vegus agreed). I said it before, he could have taken Ole Miss and they would have been competitive. Doesn't mean they deserve to be there.

Man I can’t put myself in the shoes of many of you right now but I guess watching Bama just dominate makes people so mad and jealous. It’s sad but I guess if you live and die by your programs success it’s natural

You would select an Ohio State team that had two losses one of which was to an awful Iowa team.....or the Pac12 champ USC who lost to Washington State and Notre Dame over Bama who had a late season loss on the road at AU?

Well then, our undeveloped four stars and our crazy coach still dominated your five stars in every facet of the game.

Why are you arguing with him? He’s so eaten up with jealously of Bama and St. Nick that he’ll never agree with you.

Not jealous, just sad for College Football. We were promised a system that took the subjective nature of the game out of play, but we went from sports writers and computers deciding to 12 people who are token members or has been's. Not a true champion until the rules have it who gets in and not have to explain why they got in.
