Watching Williams until this Georgia game, I kind of summed up the hype to them not playing anyone... After the Georgia game, could this 17 YO be better than Devonte Smith? Keep in mind he still 17 and has noting but room to grow.

He's pretty damn good.
So smooth

Yes. He's the best WR in America today, including the NFL

It looks effortless. Hard to describe.

I started a thread about Williams , but didn’t really get any solid responses. How has Williams looked prior to last night? He is phenomenal! Serious Heisman contender based off of what I saw last night , but I haven’t watched any of y’all’s previous games.

He's the best receiver in college football and he's 17. Yes, he's better than Devonte Smith.

Lol no. Smith was an elite route runner from day 1, Williams is not. He's great and will get better but pump the brakes on comparing him to the best WR Bama has ever had and a Heisman trophy winner.

He resembles Amari Cooper more than Smith.

He makes defenders look stupid... I didn't buy into the hype initially but he's SPECIAL!!

It's the ridiculous, uncanny speed and the ability to change direction like he's the second coming of Deuce Palmer.

He might be the best true freshman I’ve seen ever. He dominated that game against a top 5 defense with a stacked roster.

He's pretty damn good. That tip drill catch, and the sudden stop to make two guys miss for the GW score were awesome plays.
Given lsu's run with great receivers over the last 10-15 years, I think it's better to enjoy the run continuing than trying to compare. Bama has had great receivers, and it looks like yall have another one to add to the list.

Way too early to be comparing him to #6 after only 4 games. But he definitely has the potential to be one of the best we’ve ever had.

4 games compared to 50+ games. Calm down.

Hes looked good overall. Mainly because nobody has really covered him like he should be covered. I thought against Georgia they would cover him better. The second half they attempted to. The second half against Georgia is really his best film so far because how do you cover that.

too early to say, I'll get back to you when he's old enough to vote

Before last night, I compared him to Julio Jones. After last night, im seriously thinking he might be better than Devonte. The kid is phenomanal as a route runner and can also make adjustmnents and break tackles better than anyone in CFB today. Hands down better than Travis Hunter at Wide out

Right. I thought it was because of the cupcake schedule until last night, now Im sold

How would describe him is that he glides it never looks like he’s running hard but yet he is faster then 90% of the other players and is so shifty
