One other thing- he sounds like another J. Russell clone. Great at throwing the deep ball, but makes stupid short range passes. And Russell had a problem throwing the ball too hard at 10 yds away.

I don't think the hog fans can see it. They think just because you're 6-6 and can throw it out of the stadium you are a top notch QB. Have some friends that swear he will be 1st team all SEC, and yes they know Tebow is still around. Others, and they went to the Spring game, are a little worried at his touch on the ball and his accuracy.

Well, the more educated ones that actually pay attention are a little concerned about his touch. The typical fan? Probably not.

But all in all, I feel just a TAD more comfortable with the fact that he's been under Petrino's tutelage as opposed to Nutt.

Mallett needs to work on his touch, I agree.

He is a general on the field from what I can see, and that will be important for this young team.

And if Adams and Wright can manage to get open deep,

Look
the
frick
out!!!!!!!!

should be interesting to see how he does.. when it comes to meaningful snaps he has 0.. if you want to count the ones at michigan that would actually hurt him.. but that said he has immense potential and a cannon for an arm.. if his line can stop someone he has alot of talent at runningback and receiver and i think this offense can be great for him..

Can't wait for football!!

Those snaps at Michigan were quite some time ago and Petrino has had a year to develop Mallet.

Basing an assumption of the Michigan performances are not accurate compared to what we are seeing now.

I rewatched the spring game for the 2nd time and Mallett makes unbelievable throws...The one to Wright down the sideline was a 35 yard laser in stride...
