A&M will be on the right side of history with all this, also why the NCAA can’t do shite now that it’s legal.

The poor schools want to keep these kids down and money out of their hands, it’s too bad the cats out the bag for y’all because that shite wont fly in court now.

if your recruits were paid to attend A&M, that is a violation of Texas state law, so yeah it would fly in court

It is illegal for a business to pay a player to enroll at a school too

quote:

A student athlete participating in an intercollegiate athletic program at an institution to which this section applies:

2. may not enter into a contract for the use of the student athlete’s name, image, or likeness if:
(B) the compensation for the use of the student athlete’s name, image, or likeness is provided:
1. in exchange for athletic performance or attendance at the institution;
2. by the institution;
3. in exchange for property owned by the institution or for providing an endorsement while using intellectual property or other property owned by the institution; or
4. in exchange for an endorsement of alcohol, tobacco products, e-cigarettes or any other type of nicotine delivery device, anabolic steroids, sports betting, casino gambling, a firearm the student athlete cannot legally purchase, or a sexually oriented business;

NIL being part of the state laws in TX now actually makes it a lot easier to investigate and prove things like this than when we were dealing solely with the NCAA who had/has no subpoena power. Discovery can me a mother fricker.
