Self inflicted gunshot wound doesn't necessarily mean suicide but coming from someone who's dad committed suicide, that's the only description you're really going to get from the police. That's how it's described

He's still in surgery, but it isn't looking good at all.

It wasn't an accident...There's a lot more going on with him/his family/this incident than is being let out by the media/people at ACS.

Last I read the gunshot wound was self inflicted. No word as to whether that was intentional or accidental. This guy is a good dude though. Hope he pulls through.

The War Eagle Reader and a chick who works for NBC 38 in Columbus just tweeted that he is still alive, but in critical condition, twenty minutes after the OA News confirmed his death.
So here's hoping the former is true and Mr. Penny pulls through...
