If by pattern, you mean getting it's legs on an Auburn board, and by other outlandish rumors that are true like, Brody dieing, breaking news of NCAA sanctions a couple of days ago, Saban violating recruiting rules, etc.. then yeah.. ok.

Everyone is pretty much given to the fact that this happened, that it was an AU booster and old friend and that it was caught before any games were played with said players. It will affect the 2 players and their status on playing. It will not affect penalties against Alabama.
