Pre-Saban, LSU had a ten-year period with 7 losing seasons, a 10-win, 9-win, and a 7-win season.

So LSU endured the worst 10 year stretch in its history and was still ahead of A&M after it was over with. Where did the two programs stand prior to the 90s?

AtM could barely beat Duke

We didn't lose. Just like LSU didn't lose when they were down 28 points to Troy.

The only difference is that Duke had 9 wins and was the ACC runner up, whereas the Troy team that almost won in Tiger Stadium was not.

Yes. We would much rather have 610 total wins than the 717 we currently have.

Wow

surely you aren't this daft?

The period between 2000-2009 was the only decade in A&M history without a conference or division title of any kind, shared or outright.

By that measure, that decade was the worst in A&M history.

ok, so the goal posts have been moved. Please give us the metric you would prefer, and then let's stick with it please.

Worst decade in LSU History: 1990-1999

Worst decade in A&M History: 2000-2009

The only difference is that LSU got an immediate fix in Saban and A&M is still limping along with retreads.

Probably a CUSA grad who follows A&M football more closely than 85% of our student body.

LOL. You went like 31-63 in the 1960s, but that one conference championship season (1967, your only winning season between 1957 and 1974)... and WINNING in the mind of aggy.

Please tell me again how, by using data that I pay for on a transport medium not connected in any way, shape, or form, to DoD Infrastructure, that I am stealing airtime from deployed servicemembers trying to Skype back home.

You were just talking LSU pre Saban a few short minutes ago Do you see the logic there, or is this another topic that you let slip through the cracks? I'm happy to spell it out for you if you'd like, but would rather see if you can work through it on your own first.

So you don't understand it. I hope you study as much as you post; I have a feeling you won't be a student much longer if not. (that's a dumb joke, in case it slipped by you)

do you tell posters like 3nOut and SpeedyNacho to post elsewhere too?

Sumlin is not the guy for TAMU. You're one of only a few left that think he is. He's had a few lucky wins and has ridden those all the way to the bank

In fairness to A&M this is a tried and true method of making bank in the SEC. Houston Nutt comes to mind.
