Not much. Just got back to the apartment from hanging out with some friends. Ready for this time tomorrow evening. What are you up to this fine evening?

I'm making it on my end. Life is full of ups and downs for sure. Trying to remember not to dwell on the downs and cherish the ups as they come.

About ready to take my arse to bed. Anybody wanna come with?

Seriously. It's cold. The fleece blanket is only doing so much and I'm too damn lazy to get out the electric one.

I've stayed friends with exes, but there usually weren't a lot of feelings involved. I've been in this situation where I was "Option B" or the "Other Guy" and the first time I stayed friends, and it was fricking terrible.

I know the feeling. And she does too as "the other girl." And it screws up every relationship either of us has IMO. There aren't many people that don't mind that their SO is talking to an EX on a daily basis. But neither of us wants to give up a really great friendship and having the other one to talk to when shite gets bad.

I did that with a girl that I dated for two years. She found another guy and I had gotten over her completely until we see each other at 17th floor in Auburn one night.. sexual tension released and we've been friends ever since. It was the weirdest thing

Sometimes I wish I took posting a little more seriously and try to spread my joy and little wisdom that I have to others in times of need.

I need to take the plunge and buy an electric blanket myself. I usually cut my heater on but it's like the 7th circle of hell it gets so hot so I have to cut it off sometimes and cut the fan on.
Better to be too hot than too cold though. If it's too cold I can't sleep at all.

Sounds a little familiar. I've probably hooked up with this girl two dozen times since we broke up. It's as close to an addiction as I've ever come. And I'm borderline alcoholic.

I spend pretty much all of my time putting others before me, except on here. Such is life.

I would be much better off if I could say "no" to people. I take it you have that same issue?

Awesome song.

An all time favorite.

I've got green, and I've got blues...

I really do love my electric blanket. But my bedroom stays cold. After re-sealing the windows and everything. My legs just get cold really easy and I can't sleep in pants.

Pretty much. Plus working in Ministry, I'm constantly spending time helping people with their problems/life issues.

Already downloaded Browan's new EP.

ETA: Plus that song got played during my 2 hour guitar dick-around.

Used to be a popular one when I gigged.

I didn't realize it but the whole time she was dating another guy I subconsciously wondered if there was ever a chance to rekindle it just one more time. That night came, I proved myself right in the fact that she was still attracted, and have never had the thought about going back to get more. I satisfied my need for once and all.

I'd like to say I do the same although sometimes IRL I find myself thinking with a self-centered attitude when I shouldn't be. It's something that I try to fix

I have a tendency to get so caught up in it at work it bleeds over into my personal life and the things that shouldn't end up taking the backburner.

Didn't realize you worked in the church. If you don't mind my asking, what type of ministry, and what denomination are you? It's fine if you'd rather not answer, I'm just asking out of curiosity.
