Yup.
She said "I still like you, and I'm sorry"
My reply: "Those words just ring hollow right now"

You should sit down and watch Toy Story.. it always gets me through tough times.

I came home, drank a beer, played guitar for almost two hours, went to a Mexican place, drank a 'Rita, some Sangria, came back home, been drinking since.

I also told her that there was no "maybe one day down the road" on my end.

...and now we've shifted to relationship talk.
I don't know how old you are dude, but if you're young, and especially if you're in college. Don't sweat it. She'll be that one chick you had a talk at Starbucks with in about 10 years. Trust me, when you find "the one" all the others become footnotes to your life story.

Damn man.
Yeah.
If anything ever does happen again, it's gonna have to be her. I'm not doing it.

Well if it makes anyone feel better, my on again-off again girl and I had a big fight a week and a half ago. And the other girl I had been talking to seems like she's pissed too. Granted, can't say I really care about the one I had been talking to, but I could really use someone to make me soup when I'm sick like this.
What's up SECR? You alright Rig?

A whole lot of truth in this.

I'm still really close with an ex, and honestly, it can be hell at times. The worst part is the way the relationship is constantly shifting due to other relationships. It's the biggest mindfrick ever.

I remember 25. It's that age where you think you need to start gettin' it together and settle down. You don't. You can still afford to focus on yourself for a few more years. Get that career poppin', start diggin' out of that college debt. In the mean time date lots of chicks. Hit on women that are WAY out of your league. When you get older you'll see how easy it is to talk to those hotties, and if you don't do it now, you'll kick yourself when you're 35 and married with 2 kids.
The worst that will happen is they'll say no. The best thing that could happen...well.

I've stayed friends with exes, but there usually weren't a lot of feelings involved. I've been in this situation where I was "Option B" or the "Other Guy" and the first time I stayed friends, and it was fricking terrible.
