Would you relax Francis. It was a fricking joke. I posted that because of the amount of Bama fans I know are on here.

If Roman doesn't get beat, the bears punt the ball to an offense that had scored 17 points in its last 4 possessions. So yeah I'm afraid your precious bama alum did pretty much lose the game.
The DB got burnt badly and Roman didn't provide good help because he took a bad angle. However, the DB is as much at fault than anyone. He has done a real good job IMO and he would have given Demeco a run for rookie of the year a few years ago but he had a season ending injury. He is also the hardest hitter on the Saints' defense!
BTW, the game shouldn't have went to OT. The Bears got screwed at the end of regulation. They would have had 1st and goal at the 1 with 7 seconds remaining but the blind ref didn't call the obvious PI in the endzone. Can't remember who the defender was but he was all over the WR in the corner.

And how does that in any way nullify what I said?

It doesn't. So I guess continue to be a fricking fig about it.

I never understood why the Saints drafted him so high.
The hype surrounding Bama's defense in general at the time must have influenced it I'm sure.

It was a pretty good defense. Ryans was and is a fricking man.

yeah it was, I'm not arguing with that...probably the one positive aspect of Shula in his tenure at Bama.

Dude was the best defensive player to come out of Alabama in a while. He was definitely talented.

And he had absoulutely nothing to do with it. Joe Kines all the way.

True.
He made a bad play 2 nights ago, but he's still a decent NFL player.
