Sticking with that and 1964 then?

1964 is a AP title for Alabama. The standard, along with the Coaches' Poll, for anything from 1936-1997
This^^ If you want to claim the NC because you won the FWAA trophy, go right ahead. But Bama won the AP and the UPI trophies, which are the ones most people count these days besides the BCS.
And winning the bowl game after the season was over was not a requirement in those days. It was considered a reward for teams that did good in their season.

I would love to see Bryants reaction if he were to come back to life today and see Bama's stadium, how people still idolize him and the facilities. I think he would shite his pants in amazement. Then we could show him Malzahns offense and that Auburn won the NC. That would send him back to his grave.

Just stop bitching in this thread. If you have so much hate, take it elsewhere. No one asked you to post in this thread. You saw what the thread title was, but just like every good little boog you can't help yourself.

I remember that when I was a student at LSU and every time that we played Bama either home or at Legion Field, he and Coach Mac would spend at least an hour talking together before the game would start.

i know hes bama fans jesus, but frick, hes been dead for nearly 30 years. youd think yall would be over it by now. hell, half of yall never even saw him coach for yall.
What does the time frame have to do with respect?
When is it ever to make fun of a person that died?
Coach Bryant was someone's son, father, husband, and grandfather, and some of those people are living today, and they know these words are not funny. Just think for a minute how you would feel. It doesn't matter if we saw him walk the sidelines, Coach Bryant will always be a part of out legacy, and dead or not, he will never be truly gone for us. There are so many old timers out there that can tell you stories of things that he did for people that had nothing to do with football, and this is a man that should be respected and not made fun of.
Auburn fans call him a drunk, and that's really funny considering someone that they have representing them on a daily basis.

Thanks for posting that one. Now I know not to continue the argument, because you can not expect an intelligent response from a child. Tampon.time of the month .....woooooooooooo you are so clever, did someone just explain the difference between girls and boys to you, and you want to show your knowledge? I was right the first time...Grow Up.
