They have school affiliations (ex. John Higgins with Kansas, Texas, and any school playing against Kentucky or Texas A&M)

He was complaining about the reffing? Could they have called the game more favorably for Tennessee in the final 8 minutes? Not sure how.

Many of these teams, in all SEC sports, are so close. Officiating is often the difference. Certain schools know this and have taken advantage.
I’m sure Kansas basketball fans are just as oblivious to it as certain football teams we know.

I don’t think he was complaining necessarily. He was asked about it in the press conference. This was part of his response - taking a jab at kansas.
