Georgia has NEVER lost a game they shouldn't have, correct?

I'm not trolling, honestly just think UGA is ripe for an upset and I think it's funny their fans don't even recognize it.

Whether the Vols can take advantage of said ripeness is another conversation which has obvious flaws...but I'm gonna push the positive vibes this week since this will be my one game of the year I make it to!

He has 11 TDs this year to 3 interceptions.

He's also throwing for 68% and 335 yards a game. If you're pinning your hopes for a win on Murray losing the game, then I take back what I said about you being a jed alter. Jed ain't that stupid.

Those are good stats. Murray has looked like a different QB in the SC and LSU games for sure.

Once again, all of my hope for TN stems on Georgia coming out and playing way off their game, which I think is almost pretty likely.

Nobody said that.

Since you want to look at the past, tell me how many times a UT team with a first year head coach and 2 losses in the first month of the season has played host to a top 6 ranked UGA team?

And if ever, what was the result?

2009 with Kiffin is pretty damn close to that scenario minus UGA being in the top 6.

I went back in the past and saw a trend. You are talking about such a unique situation that it is impossibloe to logically base any predictions off of the maybe 1 or 2 if ever times that that has happened. And I doubt it has ever happened.

He's playing as well in 2013 as he's ever played in his life. He's not a freshman anymore. I have zero worries about Murray against UT. Especially against that lazy moron Jancek.

It wasn't close at all, actually. UGA had 5 losses that year (do you think we'll lose 4 more times this year?), a 1st year starting QB, and mediocre RB play. Plus we had Martinez and Janeck on staff

Plus, that UT team had some fight and almost knocked off the national champs. This UT team will lose 7 or 8 games.

Not really similar at all.

What trend? You didn't point out any trends, all you said was "UGA has never lost a game they should win?"

Every team at every level in every sport has lost a game they should win, what exactly is the point as it relates to Saturday?

So you asked us to come up with a situation that has never happened, and we couldn't, and now somehow that proves your point?

Every year is different. Recent history of this series suggests it will be closer than it should be. Vegas only gave ya'll 10.5, and Vegas generally knows what they're talking about. UGA fans always forget that they lose one every year that they shouldn;t until it actually happens. We'll see. I just want to see a good game, win or lose.

What games have we lost recently that we "shouldn't"?

-13: clemson- nope
-12: bama, sc - nope
-11: msu (bowl game), LSU, SC, Boise - 3 nopes and a maybe
-10: the bowl loss was really the last game you can say "UGA had no business losing that game".

But by all means, continue to look ignorant.

I'd take that over being a UT fan, where you lose 5-7 games a year...that you're supposed to lose because you suck so bad.

Your criteria didn't include any of that. It had three Variables.

1. First Year TN Coach
2. Vols upset UGA
3. UGA ranked in top 6

2009 had 2 of the 3

1. First year TN Coach
2. Vols upset UGA
3. UGA wasn't top 6 but our win over them started their slide. Only had 2 close losses to ranked teams before we played you and had beat SC, @ARK and Arizona St. You were a top 15 team that year preseason.

Pretty close if you ask me, what say you Vol fans?

So I guess anyone who beat bama in 2000 gets credit for a "good win" then huh?

4 coaches in 6 years will do that to some teams...i'm not arguing that were not bad, because we are. But, we were bad last year and it was a nailbiter. We were bad the year before and you only beat us by 8. We'll see how it goes on the field.
