There are plenty of schools with big money that have sucked for a long time.

There are tier 2 and tier 3 schools with a lot of interest and money that haven't been able to get over the hump that can use NIL to close the gap if they do it properly.

There's plenty of opportunity you just have to seize it.

First off schools can’t get you money or give you money. That has to be donors and businesses. Otherwise it’s a violation of title ix. I would love if aTm got a lawsuit for getting male football players money and not the non money making womens sports though.

CFB has been getting ruined for more than 100 years then. Rules will continue to evolve and change and some schools will prosper while others do not. When folks say stuff like this they either pine for "the way it used to be" or they are pissed that their school will be at a disadvantage. Georgia will be fine and CFB will be fine. If NIL gets big enough you may actually start to see more kids staying at schools longer and holding off on declaring for the draft, especially kids that are on the bubble.

We will see but you can't put the genie back in the bottle.

Maybe be does need to be banned, especially considering the fact that Missouri ain't hurting for money, but to his credit, you really do need pinkel.

For perspective this is nothing compared to the advantage schools had from 1950-1973 with no scholarship limits. A school like Texas could literally just go in and put 170 kids on scholarship. Back then a big school could not only get the 4/5 star types they could take the high potential 3 stars too because, why not? Just stockpile all of them.

Well, I think it has to an extent. The top 25 or so in 2022 recruiting are the programs with big money donors, and they will remain there forever, or at least until something else changes.

Alabama
Arkansas (yes, they have money)
Auburn
Florida
Florida State
Georgia
Kentucky (yes, they have money)
LSU (despite how we troll them about being poor, they have money)
Michigan
Missouri (yes, they have money too)
North Carolina
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Penn State
Tennessee
Texas
Texas A&M

The top 5 (Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M) will simply trade places every year within the top 5 with the occasional appearance by some of the others above.

Dear diary...

I heard this thing like a year and a half ago and I finally understand that it was true... Wow. Sometimes I astound myself with my own mental processing speed.
