I have no real problem with State letting Sidney to stay around. I do find it funny though that a lot of the same folks who gave Ole Miss shite for giving Masoli a 2nd chance are now defending State for having done the same.

I'm not gonna defend state on this one. I hate everything about our basketball program and I have for years. I did criticize some ole miss fans over the Masoli thing for trying to act like he was a perfect angel or something.

I am not a big fan of the kid, but come on, don't act like he's some criminal. He's not getting arrested. So far, he's gotten into a couple scuffles with teammates and forgotten details about a trip in the ninth grade. It's not like he's getting arrested or doing drugs. Not saying that won't happen though cuz it might with any kid.

technically.....adults fighting in a public place is grounds for an arrest. You know just as well as I do that if you and I fought.....we'd both be in jail.

....well....you'd get there after a hospital visit. But you get my drift.

Big difference in a couple of fights and not remembering something when he was 14-15 years old. Compared to Masoli's numerous arrests & thugged out actions.

buuuuuuuuut. It was still a fist fight and we would be in jail doing the same thing that they did.

"Thugged out actions" are what, exactly? Having darker skin and liking marijuana?

Laptop theft aside, Masoli has done nothing wrong. Drug charges are all bullshite anyway. And attacking a person (fighting, assaulting, whatever you want to use) is a far worse thing to do than steal from a person. Masoli, as far as any of us know, hasn't ever fist fought a teammate of his, or really anybody, in public while ESPN cameras were rolling.

I don't really know what I'm getting at here aside from this: I don't find drug crimes to be a big deal. I don't think doing drugs makes one a "thug" or whatever coded, bigoted language people wanna toss around. I do think that fighting people over petty bullshite makes someone a thug, however, and I think such is justified.

I'm not going to call Renardo a "thug" though, because I prefer "chubby dumbass."

Just how big a boy are ya? I'm batting .500 so far in my 26 years. One win and one loss. The loss was due to poor numbers. I would be 0-0 but sometimes you don't have a choice.

Sure. Everybody fricks up. My point is that the worst thing Masoli's ever done, that we know of, is take a guy's computer. He's not an angel, but he's hardly the "thug" that half of the posters on here want him to be.

The same goes for Renardo Sidney. He's a shithead with a bad attitude, but I don't think he's an evil person... just a chubby dumbass.

I wish Reggie Rambo was still at Bama. I'd be all for a flagrant foul on Sidney...

Rambo would kick Sidney's arse.

nah, chubby, dumbass, spoiled, thug, punk, baby.

Prediction: Sidney will get into a scuffle on the floor this year. It won't be a huge fight or anything, but he'll get suspended and let go, because our program has already caught enough hell for this. Hopefully Stansbury will be the next to go, along with his shitty assistants. We'll have to wait and see if Stricklin has the balls to do the right thing. So far he has.

Felony theft is way worse than a little fist-a-cuff. And I'll kick your arse if you disagree.

Sydney has a big bullseye on him now with the ref's etc. I doubt he'll need any help getting whistled for starting shite though...

I'm shocked Stansbury would allow him to even play as thin as the ice has become for him. When Renardo fricks up, even more fingers will point at ole Rick. This has already been a media nightmare for the team as it is..
