Won’t work. Kids transferring in mid to late Dec would be able to play in playoffs.
Somehow we need a 1 month window per year. Can play at next school (because eventually someone will sue and win the sit out a year conf rules). I don’t know when the window should be because of enrolling at new school challenges.
Make it mid Jan to mid Feb that disrupts enrollment. Make it late spring it disrupts spring games and poaching. Make it summer its too close to season.
Somehow the portal has to be fixed. No idea will be fail proof. I lean Mid Jan for 1 month and then have to sort out enrollment issues.

which is why I said you have to wait a year for postseason play.. make it true for coaches too so that you can win the argument in court

That was my point your idea won’t work
If player A transfers to OU on 15 Dec 24 and then OU makes playoffs in Dec 25 - said players 1 year playoff ban would expire on 15 Dec 25 and then could play in playoffs.

Lol. I think they won’t be able to make them sit eventually. So best thing is find a transfer window that works for all and make it one and done window.
