I don’t really understand the “Peyton Manning had more weapons” rebuttal.
People act as if Tom Brady never had Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon, Kevin Faulk, Corey Dillon, Aaron Hernandez, Terry Glenn, Chad Johnson, Brandon Lloyd, Martellus Bennett, Donta Stallworth, Deion Branch, etc. He has had a ton of running backs that fit their system perfectly.
And even when they had weapons, neither won a Super Bowl with some fantastic offense. They won with defense, essentially.
Defense wins championships, and Tom Brady has benefitted from playing with the GOAT HC.
