This. I like Ole Miss fans alot more than State fans

Eh....

Failure to maintain = kill.

Example:

I didn't leave any food for my pet black bear.

It died.

I failed to maintain it's food supply.

I killed it.

Did you kill the FOOD SUPPLY? No. You killed a pet bear (lucky you!) that ate your food.

A better analogy would be that he didn't maintain the quarterback, therefore the offense was killed.

Snead didn't literally die.

His NFL dreams did.

My point is that Snead sucked dick as a quarterback. Does anybody else not think it funny that a more lowly recruited, shorter, slower, and weaker armed Colt McCoy beat out Jevan Snead to start at Texas?

If the guy was the unmitigated badass quarterback that people want to think he was, then why did he need to transfer to Ole fricking Miss to start? Has anybody seriously looked at the assumptions one has to make to think Snead was, at one point, good at quarterbacking?

Dude always sucked. The only reason people think he shouldn't have sucked was because of his recruiting stars and cannon of an arm.

ETA: and he only began to LOOK good at quarterback towards the end of the 2008 season (he was horrible to start the season) because he had THREE future NFL receivers and a first rounder at left tackle on his blind side.

You could put Casey damned Dick behind Mike Oher and give him Shay Hodge, Dexter McCluster, and Mike Wallace to throw to and he'd look pretty aweosme for a half of a season.

I think they have a decent chance at finishing 4th in the SEC West this season.
